Monet House is situated on the Parys Golf and Country Estate, on the outskirts of Parys. The house is located on a free-standing island in the estate, which borders the Vaal River.

The island is surrounded by trees, shielding guests from the noise of activities in and across the river, but also provides spawning ground to the freshwater fish in the area. This fully furnished house is conveniently located adjacent to the 14th green, but shielded from the golf course by natures bush.

Monet house is off the grid with an inverter and Wi-Fi and comprises of 4 air-conditioned en-suite bedrooms, each offering lovely river views and furnished with a king-size bed that can be converted into twin beds. Of the en-suite bathrooms, 2 are fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and twin basins, and the other 2 are fitted with a shower, toilet and twin basins.

The fully equipped kitchen features a large granite working area, and a prep bowl, and contains a microwave, a fridge- and deep freezer, an ice machine, a stove, an oven and an extractor fan. There is also a separate scullery with a dishwasher. The air-conditioned living area has a guest toilet and an 8-seater dining table, and the lounge has a TV with a DStv Explora package.

The living area has clear folding doors that protect the house from mosquitoes and other insects, which open onto an undercover patio that boasts a built-in braai facility. There is also a remote-controlled fan on the patio. The lounge, patio, and dining room have been intricately linked with glass or clear folding doors to allow a bird’s view across the magnificent surroundings rich in fauna and flora.

In addition, the house has 2 double automated garages for 4 vehicles to park in, with direct access into the house, as well as an alarm and Trellidor doors.
